Just imagine teeing off as you gaze out onto gorgeous Galway Bay, savouring a well-deserved round of golf on a course that was designed by none other than the late, great Ryder Cup legend, Christy O’ Connor Jr. – it’s an opportunity not to be missed. 

We’re always keen to welcome new faces who’d like to enjoy a round of golf in a remarkable setting, and our Open Days make it easy to mix fun with a little friendly competition. 

Throughout 2023, we welcomed so many golfers to our headland course overlooking Galway Bay. Across April, May, June, July, August, and September, we had a total of 24 winners across multiple categories. Our Grand Final was held on October 28th where category winners faced off in a winner-takes-all day of riveting golf. 

Congratulations to our winners:

• 1st place goes to Seamus Crowe, who’s secured a year’s membership.
• Our 2nd place winner, Sean Gallagher, will be enjoying a stay in The Connacht Hotel.
• For 3rd place, Philip Sommers has snagged an incredible trackman session.
• And let’s not forget our Junior winner, Mickey Grealy, who’s earned a year’s junior membership.

This year, we were thrilled to host another exciting Open Day, welcoming golfers from near and far to enjoy our scenic course. The Grand Final, held on Saturday, September 14th, brought together the best competitors from the season for a thrilling showdown.

2nd place: Seamus Crowe, finishing close behind with 74

3rd place: Padraig Kelly, taking third with a score of 75
