The 2 Iron Bar & Restaurant is named in honour of Christy O’ Connor Jr.’s famous 2-iron shot that helped Team Europe retain the 1989 Ryder Cup at The Belfry. O’ Connor Jr. designed our wonderful 18-hole course, and we’re proud to celebrate the late, great Galway golfer’s legacy.
